I work with clients to design, create and install custom mosaics that give their home a unique and personalized design. Since I began in 2004, I have done many custom installations for private homes, colleges, design showrooms, small businesses, and non-profit organizations.

Here are just a few of the possibilities for mosaic:

  • Backsplashes (kitchen or bathroom)
  • Shower walls
  • Mirror Surrounds
  • Tables (interior or exterior)
  • Staircases
  • Murals

My work ranges in style from representational to abstract, from realistic to impressionistic. I work with a variety of glass, ceramic tile, and even incorporate other materials into my work when possible, such as bits of broken pottery and stones. I animate the materials to capture a sense of movement and imagination, using shapes, patterns, textures and lines. Color palettes can range from the very rich and bright to the very subtle and neutral.

I would love to discuss your idea with you.

Here are a few things to consider that will help in the planning
and help to determine the cost:

  • Dimensions of the space
  • Type of design or imagery, and the amount of detail
  • Your timeframe

I love to see a project through all stages, from idea to installation. Here is a summary
of what the process looks like, including payment schedule:

After some discussion about the idea and whether it’s a good fit, I charge a design fee
of 10% of what the projected cost of the project is, to be paid up front. Then I spend time working on the design and send images for you to review. I make revisions as needed, up to 2 times. If more revisions are needed, there could be an additional
design charge added, depending on the situation.

Once the design is approved, I can give a final cost of the project, and will set a

payment schedule and provide a contract. The first payment will be due along with
the signed contract, and then production can begin. The final payment is due upon
completion of the installation. The other payments are scheduled in accordance with
the timeline of the project.

Client Testimonials:

“Our breathtaking and functional kitchen backsplash was made by Christine Kenneally, who took our words and ideas and made them appear before our eyes.  Every time we walk into our new kitchen, we are thrilled to be surrounded with color and art (not usually associated with kitchens) that reflects our love of light and nature. Christine was a delight to work with at every stage of the project’s development.  She was always ready to negotiate changes and to take artistic risks.  We have profound respect and appreciation for her artisanship.”

“We contacted Christine when we were creating a multi-faith prayer space on campus because we wanted to infuse the space with a peaceful, serene feeling that would be welcoming and inspiring to people of all faiths. Christine designed and created two large mosaic elements for the space, inspired by the natural landscape of New Hampshire including mountains and rivers. There is a harmonious flow in her work that is meditative and uplifting. We’re thrilled with how the mosaics turned out, and she was wonderful and easy to work with.” -Joycelin Raho, St. Anselm College
